  • Day 1: Arrival in Costa Rica

    Arrive at the San Jose International Airport (SJO) before 1:00 PM and be shuttled to Playa Hermosa beach for sunset.


    Arrive at your hotel conveniently located minutes from the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park.


    Enjoy our opening reception and meet the other young people from across the world who you will bond with over the next five days.





  • Day 2: Manuel Antonio National Park

    Start your morning by exploring the jungle of Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world.


    Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Mondays, if day 2 falls on a Monday, we will just swap with day 3


    The 683 hectare park contains a combination of rainforest, stunning beaches and is home to sloths, iguanas, and monkeys.


    In the afternoon, enjoy some time in the sun on the local beach or grab a surfboard and ride the Pacific coast waves Costa Rica is known for.



  • Day 3: Explore & Beach

    For those interested in getting up early, enjoy your Costa Rican coffee and local fruit while seeing monkeys along the beach at sunrise.


    To see real Costa Rican culture, ride the local bus to the nearby town of Quepos and shop the local market for handmade gifts.


    After dinner make your way to the disco for salsa dancing and get to know your peers over drinks in paradise



  • Day 4: Optional Adventures

    Day four is all about what you make of it. Go for an optional hike, catamaran ride, zip-lining or do yoga overlooking the ocean.


    Visit a local school, play soccer, and participate in a cultural exchange as part of the ecological education run by local outreach organizations.



    Kick off the last night with a meal reflecting on the week's adventures and celebrate your new relationships with your new friends.


  • Day 5: Relax & Depart to Lake Arenal

    On our final day in Manuel Antonio, wake up early for an optional morning hike or a relaxing walk on the beach to say adios to the beach.

    Depart for the airport where we will drop off travelers who will not be joining us for the full 9 days. Then we will head to Lake Arenal and the famous eco-lodge, Rancho Margot.

    Kick off your visit to Costa Rica by relaxing in the natural pools at Rancho Margot resort before immersing yourself in the epicenter of eco-tourism.

    Rancho Margot resort is certified as carbon negative and sits lakeside between cloud and rainforests in a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

  • Day 6: Ranch Tour and Zip-line canopy tour

    Start your morning with optional yoga, offered twice daily, and eat a healthy, organic breakfast grown on the ranch.


    Tour Rancho Margot Eco-resort, a global example of green initiatives and sustainability and see the community in the rainforest.



    In the afternoon go zip lining through the canopy with striking views of the Arenal Volcano at the best zipline in Costa Rica.





  • Day 7: Arenal National Park

    Head just 5km to Arenal Volcano National Park to explore the active volcanic region. Hike one of the most biodiverse places on the planet.

    Back at the resort, you'll have the option to relax in a hammock, swim in the natural pools, or adventure into "Mirador" hike.

    Get to know your peers over dinner and drinks, and examine how to live a greener, healthier lifestyle.



  • Day 8: Kayak Lake arenal

    Be led by our local guides on kayaks into Lake Arenal for a chance to see monkeys, toucans, sloths, and crocodiles at the base of the volcano.

    By now you will have your eye on a variety of optional activities including massages, art classes, yoga, horseback riding, or hot springs relaxation.

    Kick off the last night with a special dinner overlooking our private lake to celebrate your new relationships in our travel community.


  • Day 9: Relax and Departure

    Wake up early for an optional morning hike and reflect on the experience over an organic breakfast.


    Say goodbye to the amazing new friends you've made as transportation is provided back to San Jose Airport for departing flights.


    Be shuttled to San Jose International Airport (SJO) for your flight departing after 12:00 PM.
